Habitat: Potts Mtn. In Jefferson National Forest. Many plants growing along edge of unpaved road. 300 S facing slope, sandy soil, thin organic layer. Altitude: 3,440 ft
Associated Species: Smilax, Baptisia tinctora, Rhododendron, Oxydendrum, Sassafras, Quercus rubra, Pinus, Galax, Gaultheria procumbens
Description: Plants 1-2' tall and appear to have been mowed, plants across the road were up to 10' tall
